Construction management is the side of RGC that doesn't get talked about as much as leak detection, but it's the work Ralph Garrett has been doing since 1985.
If you're a homeowner staring down a major construction project — a ground-up build, a substantial addition, a structural repair, a kitchen-down-to-the-studs renovation — and you'd rather not be the one calling subs every morning, fielding the change-order surprises, and explaining to the framer what the electrician needed three weeks ago, this service is for you.
We coordinate the project. You stay in your day job.
When you hire RGC for construction management, you're hiring forty-plus years of building experience to act on your behalf. That includes:
You stay informed without having to be the project manager.
Construction management pricing is scoped to your specific project. We'll walk through your plans, your timeline, and your budget on the first call, then provide a clear written engagement before any work begins. Trades you hire bill you directly at their rates; we manage them on your behalf.
For smaller projects — a single repair or a focused renovation — we'll quote a flat rate that fits the scope.
Ralph Garrett has been on Texas residential job sites since 1985. He has a degree in Building Construction Technology from Texas State Technical College, has built homes from foundation to finish, and has supervised crews on projects from small additions to full custom builds. The leak detection business grew out of that construction work — but the construction work has been the through-line for forty years.
A construction management engagement starts with a conversation. Send us your plans, your scope, or even just your idea, and we'll let you know whether the project is a good fit for us.
If something’s not covered here, call. The phone consult is the same five minutes whether you book a job or not.

Yes. Send us your plans, your scope, or even just the idea you're chewing on, and we'll tell you straight whether the project is a good fit for us before anyone commits to anything.
Yes. Managing city permits and scheduling inspection windows is part of the job — it's folded into the daily on-site supervision so the project keeps moving instead of stalling between phases.
Daily. The whole point of hiring RGC is that forty-plus years of building experience is physically on site catching issues before they become change orders — not managing from a truck across town.
Tell us what you're seeing. Five-minute call, flat estimate, same-week scheduling. If RGC isn't the right fit, Ralph will tell you straight.
Voicemail? Ralph calls back the same day.
