What to expect

From your call to a clear answer.

No pressure, no runaround. Here's exactly how it goes once you reach out.

  1. 1

    The five-minute call

You tell Ralph what you're seeing a high water bill, a warm spot on the floor, the sound of running water. He'll tell you straight whether detection makes sense and give you a flat estimate on the spot.

  2. 2

    Same-week visit

We schedule a time that works, usually within the same week and often next-day. One truck, one technician. Most leaks are located within two hours, with no demolition.

  3. 3

    Documented findings

You get a written report with photos and exact locations everything your plumber needs to make the repair. The detection stays independent of the fix.

Common questions

Before you reach out.

A few things people usually want to know before they call.

What happens after you find the leak?

We hand you the documentation a licensed plumber can act on — photos, equipment readings, exact location, and a plain-language summary. From there, the repair stays with the plumber of your choice.

How do you locate a leak without digging or breaking concrete?

Professional-grade LeakTronics acoustic listening equipment — we hear water flow through the pipe wall, even under slabs and inside walls. A leak only makes acoustic noise when water is moving through it, so we listen for the active flow and pinpoint from there, paired with thermal imaging when warm or cold spots help confirm the location. The acoustic gear does most of the work. Neither requires demolition.

How much does a leak detection cost?

Most residential inspections across Tarrant, Johnson county and the surrounding areas run between $300 and $650, depending on size, complexity, and which equipment we end up needing. We give you a flat estimate before we start. No hourly surprises, no add-ons mid-job.

How quickly can you come out?

Same-week scheduling is the norm; same-day is possible when the calendar allows. RGC is one technician (Ralph) and one truck, so we don't over-promise an hour we can't hit. If your leak is actively flooding, call: we'll tell you the truth about when we can be there.

Does someone need to be home for the appointment?

If someone is on-site during the inspection, they must be 18 years of age or older to grant access to the property and walk through what we're seeing. If no one can be there, we'll work with whoever is coordinating the visit.

Do you work with my homeowner's insurance?

Yes. We provide the kind of written documentation adjusters expect: photos, equipment readings, plain-language interpretation, exact location. Many policies cover detection as part of a water-damage claim. We don't bill insurance directly; the homeowner pays us, and we hand you the documentation to file.

What areas do you serve?

Tarrant, Johnson county and the surrounding areas — including Joshua, Cleburne, Burleson, Mansfield, Granbury, and Weatherford — within a 40-50 mile radius covering Hood, Parker, Somervell, Hill, and Bosque counties as well. Outside that radius? Call us anyway, we may still be able to help.
